Osten d. 5.XII.42.
Meine liebe Mama!
Sei wieder recht herzlich gegrüßt und geküßt. Du kannst Dir meine Freude nicht vorstellen als gestern die beiden Päckchen kamen. Hab tausend Dank dafür. Wie gut schmeckte wieder der Kuchen und die Kecks von der Hand meiner geliebten Muttl. Auch die Würsteln und die Zigaretten sind prima. Heute soll wieder Post kommen hoffentlich habe ich auch wieder was dabei. Es ist doch die einzige Freude. Meine Gedanken sind heute wieder sehr in der Heimat. Kam doch sonst Heute immer der „Krampuß“ [ Krampus ] wie schön war doch daß immer. Jetzt kommen ja [diese schöne Sachen alle ab.]
