Osten, d. 5.X.43.
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Heute will ich Dich aus innigsten Herzen grüßen ist doch dieser Brief für Deinen Ehrentag den Muttertag bestimmt. Ja es ist nun schon der 3. an den ich nicht bei Dir sein kann. Darum wollen wir aber nicht traurig sein es wird auch wieder anders werden. Wie lieb ich Dich habe und daß Du mein alles auf der Welt bist brauche ich Dir ja nicht extra zu sagen daß weißt Du ja! Wenn ich am 16. zu Hause wäre würde ich Dir das alles mündlich sagen können so gehts eben nur aus weiter Ferne. Am Muttertag will ich besonders an Dich denken und den Herrgott bitten daß er mir mein liebes gutes Muttel noch recht lange und gesund erhällt! Mit diesen Brief geht auch ein Päckchen weg mit einer Kleinigkeit hoffentlich kommt es noch rechtzeitig an und macht Dir Freude. Um mich mach Dir bitte keine Sorgen mir gehts tadellos! Verlebe diesen Tag so gut es geht und kränke und sorge Dich bitte nicht. Nochmals alles was Dir ein dankbares Herz nur wünschen kann
