Osten, d. 16.6.43.
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Nun habe ich aber schon lange nicht geschrieben will heute wieder alles gut machen. Deinen lieben Brief vom 6.6.43. habe ich heute erhalten. Nun müßen 2 Luftpostmarken drauf sein wir bekommen jetzt aber auch 10 St. pro Mann. Also in der Reindorfgasse [ Reindorf ] kam eine Nonne und Du hattest Glück. Sonst sagt man ja Nonnen bedeuten Pech. Die Bilder gefallen Dir also na das freut mich. Vorne haben wir keinen Revolver das sind die Schleifen vom Gürtel! Mama warum hast Du den Aufsatz von Kelly in der Wochen-Rundschau nicht angezeichnet hätte es gerne gelesen. Dein Päckchen mit Schmuck ist dankend angekommen. Über das Salz mußt ich lachen von Dir ist es schon richtig gedacht ich danke auch sehr dafür aber wo ich doch hier die Verpflegung überhabe habe ich auch genug Salz! Momentan brauche ich keinen „Schmuck“ wenn Du ab und zu in ein Päckchen etwas hineinlegst bin ich Dir dankbar. Danke auch für das abgesandte 1 kg Packet. Habe auch wieder eines an Dich geschickt auch ging eines mit Kaffee nach Offenbach! Denn Wirbel in 20er Haus am Boden hätt ich sehen wollen.
/Den Brief nimmt ein Urlauber mit./
