[Wir wollen unseren Herrgott bitten daß er uns gesund erhällt und daß dieser furchtbare Krieg bald ein] Ende hatt. - Wie geht es Dir? Ich denke viel an Dich. Wr. Neustadt [ Wiener Neustadt ] wurde also angegriffen hoffentlich läßt man unser herrliches Wien in Ruhe. Wenn Allarm ist gehe bitte gleich in den Keller damit ich mich nicht sorgen muß! Was gibt es den sonst neues daheim? Was schreibt Poldi? Zulaßungs-Marken habe ich keine. Wenn Du etwas schicken willst dann bitte Zigaretten! Zu Essen habe ich genug auch ganz gut. Nun kommen auch wieder Urlauber zurück da erzählen wir von der schönen Heimat. Wie herrlich war es doch daheim. Na die Zeit wird auch wieder kommen! Sonst kann ich Dir nichts neues berichten es ist immer die alte Tour. Nochmals, sorge Dich nicht zu viel es wird dadurch auch nicht besser.
