Im Feld, d. 24.X.43
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Wieder kam ein lieber Brief von Dir er war vom 12.X. und ich freute mich wie immer. Du wirst Dich wundern daß ich heute wieder mit Tinte schreibe ja schön langsam wird hier wieder alles „modern“. Nun ist ja das E. K. auch eingetroffen. Wenn Du mal ein paar Tage keine Post von mir bekommst darfst Du Dich nicht Sorgen wir haben hier viel arbeit mit schanzen und bauen sooft es geht schreibe ich Dir schon. Bei Karl kann es aber nicht alzu schlimm gewesen sein dachte er wird operiert? In der 20er Villa war also wieder Wirbel wegen den welken Blumen. Poldi hatt also nun auch schon Malaria von seiner [Gefangenschaft hatt er mir schon geschrieben.]
