Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Welche große Freude hast Du mir mit Deinen Brief und vor allem mit den Bildern gemacht. Sie sind doch ganz nett geworden. Schade daß ich das Große nicht sehen kann muß ganz schön sein. Bin schon neugierig wie die anderen von Schimeck aussehen.
Von mir kann ich nicht viel neues berichten mache nun Dienst mit und habe mich schon mit den hier sein abgefunden. Am Samstag u. Sonntag war ich aus. Es ist ja nicht viel los nur ein Kino und etliche Lokale. Trotzden habe ich mich ganz gut unterhalten und es war ganz nett. Jedenfalls war es schöner als in der Kaserne. Ansonst fühle ich mich sehr wohl und laße [es mir eben so gut gehen als eben möglich.]
