Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Erstmal herzliche Grüße, meine Karte hast Du ja wohl erhalten, heute nun den versprochenen Brief. Zu meiner großen Sorge mußte ich hören das schon wieder ein Angriff auf Wien war. Wenn mir nur Du gesund geblieben bist dann bin ich schon zufrieden!
Wie Du von dem Angriff am 7. 10. schreibst muß ja da auch allerhand los gewesen sein. Noch dazu so in der Nähe die 20er Villa wird ja schön gewankt haben. Mir gibt es immer einen Stich wenn ich höre daß sie wieder in unseren lieben und schönen Wien waren meine Gedanken sind dann immer voll Sorgen bei Dir wies Dir geht und ob noch alles in Ordnung ist! Ich kann es mir garnicht vorstellen das nun auch unsere Stadt so aussehen soll wie all die vielen Städte hier im Reich. Gestern erst sind wir zum Bahnhof gefahren um Flüchtlinge aus Braunschweig zu holen es sind alles arme Menschen alles haben sie verloren. Dieses Elend müßte ein Ende haben viele behaupten ja auch das demnächst dem abgeholfen wird wir wollen hoffen das es stimmt [ Wunderwaffe ]. Wir müssen halt nur auf Gott vertrauen!
