Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Die Post braucht jetzt viel länger als sonst, Dein Brief vom 7. 11. kam erst heute an. Vielmals danke ich Dir dafür, es beruhigt mich doch sehr zu hören daß Du gesund bist.
Du arme mußt nun allerhand mit machen. Nicht mal Essen kannst Du ruhig aber Du mußt doch sehen daß Du soweit als möglich satt wirst. Unser schönes altes Wien. Ich kann es mir garnicht vorstellen. Bei mir ist noch alles so in Erinnerung wie ich es verlassen habe. Na vieleicht komme ich in absehbarer Zeit auf Urlaub, da sehe ich ja alles persönlich, wann es sein wird ist noch unbestimmt.
Wie sieht es denn bei Lokl aus, steht das Haus und das Geschäft noch? Von Poldi habe ich nichts mehr gehört ein Brief an ihn kam mit den Vermerk „Neue Anschrift abwarten“ zurück. Wenn er doch nur gesund ist! Morgen hätte er Namenstag am berühmten „Leopolditag“ [15.11.]. Wie wurde doch der, früher immer beim „Fasselrutschen“ [ Leopoldi-Tag ] gefeiert. Na einmal wird auch dies wieder einmal kommen.
Ja Mamschl ich kann mir Dich gut vorstellen daß Du selbst im Keller bei höchster Gefahr noch die anderen „ausstalierst“ und darüber lachst, denn ich habe dies doch von Dir es geht mir doch genau so.
Was macht den Fritz und Hansi mit ihren Kleinen grüßte sie bitte von mir.
