Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Heute der versprochene Brief die Karte von gestern hast Du ja wohl erhalten. Von Dir kam Dein lieber Brief vom 23 und eine Eilnachricht, wie froh bin ich immer wenn ich Nachricht von Dir habe besonders nach einem Angriff.
Meine Geburts- und Namenstagwünsche haben Dich also rechtzeitig erreicht darüber bin ich froh. Hatte Dir aber auch ein kleines Päckchen geschickt ist dieses noch nicht eingetroffen? Für die 50.- RM und die Marken habe ich mich schon im letzten Brief bedankt hast Du diesen noch nicht? Auch in diesen Deinen letzten Brief hast Du mir wieder Marken geschickt, mein Mamschl ich weiß doch wie sie Dir fehlen, besonders jetzt wo Du doch im Gasthaus essen mußt. Ich danke Dir jedenfalls sehr dafür.
Ja mein Mamschl auch ich mache mir Sorgen um unseren Poldi, wo mag er bloß sein. Wenn er nur gesund ist dann ist es schon gut. Seinen letzten Brief schrieb er aus Frankreich ohne Ortsbezeichnung. Es hätte ihn auch als Gefreiter erwischen können dies ist Bestimmung da kann einer sein was er will. An Frau Lockl habe ich auch zum 25. geschrieben.
Wie ich sehe mußtest Du an Deinen beiden „Feiertagen“ viel Arbeiten, hattest Du wenigstens von „oben“ Ruhe?
