Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Heute kam Deine liebe Rauchfangkehrerkarte vielen Dank dafür. Meinen Brief von meiner Ankunft hast Du ja wohl erhalten.
Ja mein Mamschl nun haben wir schon 1945, was wird es uns bringen, hoffen wir auf den ersehnten Frieden.
Dir mein liebes Muttl sage ich hier dieses neue Jahr nochmals alles alles Gute. Bleib mir gesund und racker Dich nicht zu sehr ab, Du mußt doch recht lange bei mir bleiben! Wie bist Du denn ins neue Jahr gekommen, hattest Du Dienst oder hast Du geschlafen? Ich bin gut rüber gerutscht, war erst im Kino dann ging ich in ein Lokal da gabs noch Wein so kamen wir schon ein wenig in Stimmung. Um ½12.00 h mußten [wir in die Kaserne.]
