Description
Deutsch: Feldsteinbacköfen oder Feldbacköfen wurden wegen der Brandgefahr außerhalb der Bauerngehöfte am Rand Felder errichtet. In Danewitz gibt es noch 12 solcher Backöfen. Der Ofen im Gartenbereich der Dorfstraße 27 befindet sich im Besitz der Familie Klaus Scheuing. Er wurde 1996/1997 renoviert und wird noch heute zum Kuchen- und Brotbacken genutzt.
English: Field stone ovens or field ovens were built outside of the farms on the edge of fields because of the risk of fire. There are still 12 such ovens in Danewitz. The stove in the garden area at Dorfstrasse 27 is owned by the Klaus Scheuing family. It was renovated in 1996/1997 and is still used for baking cakes and bread.
