Qadam Rasool Qadam-e-Rasul Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh / Qadam-e-Rasool (Lucknow) Ruins of a monument built by King Nasir-ud-Din Haider on an artificial hill. The shrines related to Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) are also known as “Qadam-e-Rasool”, where the relic of Prophet Muhammad's (P.B.U.H.) foot print is kept. Lucknow has many “Qadam-e-Rasool”. In the year 1830 A.D. King Nasir-ud-Din Haider (2nd King of Awadh) also built a “Qadam-e-Rasool” in Imambara Shah Najaf (Hazratganj). This “Qadam-e-Rasool” was the most magnificent of all other “Qadam-e-Rasool”. This “Qadam-e-Rasool” was partially destroyed on 16th & 17th November in the year 1857 A.D. by the British forces. |
