Description
English: From The Illustrated GUIDE TO FELIXSTOWE And Neighbourhood: Including a Trip down the Orwell to Harwich by Dr J. E. Taylor (Jarrold & Sons, c.1891), p. 63 The photographer was Charles Skelton Tyler (1863-1940), a chemist and druggist of 8 Victoria Parade, Hamilton Road, Felixstowe. This shot appears to have been taken from the tower of South Beach Mansion, with Sea Gull House among the buildings on the left.
