Description
Français : Portrait d'une femme en costume traditionnel (Caftan marocain), faisant face à l'objectif, posant devant une grande tenture de tapisserie. Pierre Grébert est devenu photographe professionnel après avoir été adjudant dans l'armée. Arrivé peu avant 1907 à Casablanca, il commence par réaliser plusieurs séries : Campagne du Maroc (1907-1909), La colonne de Fez (1911-1912). Il a pour raison sociale P. Grébert phot., Casablanca.
English: Portrait of a woman in traditional costume (Moroccan Caftan), facing the camera, posing in front of a large tapestry hanging. Pierre Grébert became a professional photographer after serving as a warrant officer in the army. Arriving shortly before 1907 in Casablanca, he began by producing several series: Campaign of Morocco (1907-1909), The Column of Fez (1911-1912). Its company name is P. Grébert photo., Casablanca.
