Herdachte groepen: Algemeen Ontwerper: Ossip Zadkine (1890-1967) Onthulling: 1955 Vorm en materiaal Het monument 'Feniks' in Arnhem is een bronzen beeld van een vogel. Het beeld is 1 meter 82 hoog, 1 meter 27 breed en 52 centimeter diep.

Symboliek De feniks is een Grieks-mythologische vogel die zich volgens de fabel om de 500 jaar liet verbranden op een door de zon ontstoken brandstapel, om vervolgens herboren uit de as te herrijzen. De beeltenis is een symbool van onsterfelijkheid en eeuwige verjonging na ondergang en verwijst naar de wederopbouw en de hoop op een betere toekomst. Locatie Het monument is geplaatst bij het stadhuis, gelegen aan de Koningstraat te Arnhem.
