Description
Français : Vielle-Tursan, Landes, Aquitaine, France. tumulus n° 3 de Vielle-Aubagnan, entre Vielle-Tursan et Aubagnan. Le mobilier du tumulus est daté du second âge du fer, et vraisemblablement de la fin du IIe siècle av. J.-C. (voir Vielle-Tursan, section « Protohistoire »).

Dessin d'une partie de fibule adhérant à une cotte de mailles, trouvée par Pierre-Eudoxe Dubalen en 1914. Ce dessin est tiré de Gabrielle Fabre (1943), Contribution à l'étude du protohistorique du Sud-Ouest de la France, p. 64, fig. 5, n° 6. Le texte associé est :
(p. 64) : " Fragment de fibule de la Tène II, qui adhère à un débris de cotte de mailles du tumulus n° 3 de la lande Mesplède, à Aubagnan " ;

et (p. 62) : " un fragment de fibule de fer, dont l'arc porte une bague destinée à maintenir le pied (la Tène II) (fig. 5, 6) ".
