  • Dansk: -Ved restaureringen af billedet i 1997 viste det sig at våbenskjoldet f.n.t.h. er malet ovenpå flere lag fernis, dvs. påmalet en rum tid efter Lippis færdiggørelse af værket. Det er endvidere endnu ikke blevet identificeret. -I inventar hos Spengler opgives motivet som "Labans afsked med Rachel". -Samme motiv er malet af Filippinos far, Filippi Lippi, i et noget medtaget predella-billede i Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
