Kommentar: Der Medailleur Karl Fischer schuf Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1841) mit dieser Medaille ein metallenes Denkmal. Die Darstellung der Rückseite nimmt Bezug auf dessen Tätigkeit als Baumeister. Noch 1862 ließ der Medailleur Fischer an der Berliner Prägestätte drei Medaillen in Silber auf Schinkel ausprägen.
