Description
Nederlands: Deze foto is een momentopname. Het betreft een actiefoto. Het is daarom te benadrukken dat de fotograaf in kwestie een zekere zin voor geduld en timing heeft moeten opbrengen om deze foto vast te leggen. De fotograaf heeft gebruik gemaakt van een korte sluitertijd teneinde een freeze-effect te bekomen. Een goede belichting is hierbij noodzakelijk. De foto zelf werd getrokken in de gulden snede; de hoofdpersonages werden bewust niet centraal geplaatst. De vishengel is in de foto bovendien als horizontale lijn van dienst en verlengt het beeld in de breedte. Bovendien worden horizontale lijnen doorgaans gebruikt om rust weer te geven in de foto, hetgeen overeenkomt met de gemoedstelling van de centrale figuren: dit vormt dan een contrast met de actie van het water.
