Description
Deutsch: Seit 1965 steht am Flüeler Hafen die 11 Meter hohe Eisenplastik "Schwörende Hände" oder auch "Rütlischwur" von Werner Witschi beim Bahnhof von Flüelen. Die Figur schuf er für die Expo 64 in Lausanne. Sie ist ein Geschenk der Stadt Lausanne an die Urner.
Deutsch: Depuis 1965, la sculpture en fer «Schwörende Hände» ou «Rütlischwur» de Werner Witschi, haute de 11 mètres, se dresse au port de Flüelen près de la gare. Il avait créé la sculpture pour l'Expo 64 à Lausanne. C'est un cadeau de la ville de Lausanne au canton de Uri.
Italiano: Dal 1965, la scultura di ferro alta 11 metri "Schwörende Hände" o "Rütlischwur" di Werner Witschi è situata al porto Flüelen presso la stazione di Flüelen. Ha creato la figura per l'Expo 64 a Losanna. È un regalo della città di Losanna al cantone di Uri
English: Since 1965, the 11-meter-high iron sculpture "Schwörende Hände" or "Rütlischwur" by Werner Witschi has been standing at Flüelen harbor at the Flüelen station. He created the figure for the Expo 64 in Lausanne. It is a gift from the city of Lausanne to the canton of Uri.
