Summary[edit]

Description
English: The flag of the former municipalities of Florø and Flora in the (also former) county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. Its design is shared with the municipal arms, and shows three herrings, recognizing the importance of fishing—not only as a main livelihood in the area, but as the very reason why Florø was granted town status in 1860. The flag was approved by royal resolution for Florø 1960‐02‐19, and for Flora 1967‐10‐06.
