Description
Српски / srpski: Застава општине Житорађа је квадратног облика са односом страница 1:1. На њој су представљени, на плавој основи, хералдички елементи: три кривудаве линије у црвеној, плавој и белој боји (боје заставе Р. Србије), којима је представљена река Топлица и три класа пшенице или жита, који симболизују пољопривреду наше општине као основну делатност становништва и који алудирају на име општине.
  • Графичко решење знамења Општине Житорађа урадио је Љубиша Стевановић из Житорађе, радник Општинске управе општине Житорађа, уз стручну помоћ Ивана Сарајчића.
  • Застава је званично усвојена на седници Скупштине општине Житорађа, дана 15.10.2010. године. Употреба је регулисана Одлуком о употреби имена, грба и заставе општине Житорађа.
