Flaggenbeschreibung
„„Die Farben der Stadt sind rot-weiß.“ Als Anlage 2 zeigt die Hauptsatzung der Stadt Bad Iburg eine Hissflagge als querrechteckiges Tuch (Länge zu Höhe wie 3:2) von rot und weiss im Verhältnis 1:1 längsgestreift und in der Mitte mit dem Stadtwappen belegt.[1]

Die Blasonierung des Gemeindewappens lautet:

„In Silber ein golden bewehrter roter Adler, der aus einem fünfspeichigen roten Rad wächst.“[2]

(Wappen genehmigt durch den Niedersächsischen Minister des Innern 1957)
