Description

Flavoparmelia caperata (L.) Hale, 1986

Photograph of the lower surface of a lobe of F. caperata taken through a dissecting microscope (x6) showing a pale tan margin without rhizines.

F. caperata was growing on bark of a dead oak in Berwyn Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland, USA.
