| Description |
English: One of two signs on the pillars telling either motorists or commuters not to pass on the track side of the Flushing – Main Street subway station on the IRT Flushing Line in the Flushing section of Queens, New York City. These signs clearly pre-date the MTA Helvetica standard. Note also the "M" mosaics at the tops of the pillars. |
