Description
Français : Fontaine d'Argent : capte une source libre et d'alimenter en eau le quartier de Villeneuve, septième agrandissement de la ville débuté dès 1583 sur un plan régulier aux rue en angles droits. Construite en 1758, la fontaine actuelle est l'oeuvre de Georges Vallon, architecte et Jean Chaste, sculpteur. Elle se présente dans l'évidement d'un mur en demi cercle avec un bassin en contre courbe, deux masques figurant de jeunes turcs crachent avec effort leur eau.
