Description
Français : La place de la Louve de Lausanne (Suisse) accueille quatre fontaines de l'architecte genevois Georges Descombes, formées de cylindres de tuf surmontés d'une plaque de fonte et couverts de mousse, sur lesquels ruisselle de l'eau ; leur alignement respecte le tracé de la Louve, la rivière qui coulait à cet endroit jusqu'au XIXème siècle. D'autres fontaines placées sur la rue de la Louve complètent l'œuvre.
English: Fountains at Place de la Louve, in Lausanne (Switzerland). Created by the architect from Geneva Georges Descombes, they form a line showing the course of the Louve river that used to run through the city until the XIXth century.
