Replaced 1900 with the current St Matthew's church, and Old St Matthew's Chapel was demolished 1935. Between 1900 and 1935 it was used for meetings, then became unsafe. Carving in Old St Matthews was executed during the 1861-1863 re-fit by Mawer & Ingle. This picture was taken between 1866 and 1900. | ||||||
