Blaue Rosette: Kurve im erdfesten Ost-Nord-System
Rote Ellipse: Kurve im Inertialsystem. Bei sind beide Systeme deckungsgleich.

Periode der Pendeleigenschwingung: 1 h entsprechend einer Pendellänge von 3220 km (!) Bei realistischer Pendellänge (<100 m) würden sich die Linien überdecken.
Pendelort: Nord
Anfangszustand: 1 m in -Richtung (Norden) ausgelenkt und ruhend
Periode des Schwingebenenumlaufs: 31 h 15 min
Simulationszeitspanne: 8 h
Im Inertialsystem ergibt sich die rote Ellipse, im erdfesten System die blaue Rosette.

Zwischem den Kurven vermittelt eine zeitabhängige Drehtransformation.
