Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine) Château fort. La tour du Gobelin ou des Gobelins (fin XIIème siècle). On apperçoit le sommet de la tour Mélusine (XIVe) sur la gauche de la tour du Gobelin. A droite de la tour du Gobelin, la Poterne ou tour d'Amboise (XVe). Le pain était cuit dans un four de la tour des Gobelins, le "four de la duchesse Anne", four dont on a retrouvé les traces. La tour des Gobelins a été élevée, de 1173 à 1200, par Raoul II, en remplacement du donjon rasé.Le sommet de la tour des Gobelins date de Jeanne de Fougères (XIIIème siècle). |
