Description
English: Painting by Francesco Bonsignori of the beata Osanna Andreasi holding a lily in her right hand and a heart and crucifix in her left and trampling a demon. She is venerated by two laywomen and three Dominican nuns. The second kneeling figure from the left has been identified as a portrait of Isabella d’Este, of which a study is in the British Museum (n. 1895-9-15-470). (U. B.
