English: Built in 1905, this Colonial Revival-style house was designed by Law, Law and Potter for Frank G. Brown, and his wife, Mary G. The house features a red flemish bond brick exterior, front and side gable roof, modillions on the eaves, an arched attic window bay with a Palladian window, eight-over-one, six-over-one, and four-over-one double-hung windows, stone trim, quoins, a front porch with a rooftop balustrade, ionic columns, and a cornice with modillions, a front door with a fanlight transom and sidelights, gabled dormers, an enclosed sun porch with a rooftop deck facing Lake Mendota, and stone belt coursing at the base of the first floor. The house is a contributing structure in the Langdon Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
