Description Freiburger Frauen*orte: Lina Wäldin (1869-1950)
Feministische Politikerin, aktiv im Freiburger Verein für Frauenstimmrecht. Nach ihrere Heirat musste sie wegen des Beamtenzölibats ihren Beruf als Lehrerin aufgeben.
Lina Wäldin gehörte als Abgeordnete der DDP 1919 zu den ersten Frauen im Freiburger Stadtparlament.
Im Obergeschoss des Rotteckhauses befand sich von 1907 bis 1928 der Freiburger Frauenklub. Als Kulturzentrum für bürgerliche Frauenrechtlerinnen war der Klub auch Versammlungslokal und Sitz für die feministischen Vereine in Freiburg.
