Description

The pedestrian portion of Fremont Street, known as Fremont Street Experience, was created in the mid-1990s to revitalize Downtown Las Vegas, which had lost much of its luster after the rise of the themed resorts of the Strip.

  • It stretches from Main Street (Union Pacific railroad tracks) to Las Vegas Boulevard (originally Fifth Street, then Los Angeles Highway).
  • This neon sign, curated by the Neon Museum Las Vegas, is "Andy Anderson" who used to grace the Anderson Dairy at 1440 North Las Vegas Boulevard.
