Summary[edit]

Description
English: Actual Photograph of the Rout of the Germans at Soyecourt, taken from an Aeroplane. The victorious French, visible as tiny specks on the shell-scarred landscape, are advancing from the right, through and over trenches from which the Germans have been driven. French shells are bursting on the left, and the vanquished Germans are fleeing toward the village of Soyecourt, which has been set afire by shells.
