Die Bedeutung der ohne weitere Nachricht des Absenders aus Berlin versandten Botschaft wird bei Betrachtung der Adressseite der Postkarte deutlicher: Dort ist die ohne weitere Absenderangabe am 26. Dezember 1903 (Weihnachten) an den

„Herrn Amtsrichter Schmidt
Kattowitz (Ober Schles.)
Roonstr. 17 I“

mit einer schräg nach links aufgeklebten Briefmarke der Germania-Freimarken-Serie frankiert worden, was in der "Briefmarkensprache" etwa bedeutet
