Description

Spandau; malerische Stadtansicht aus d. Mitte des 19. Jh.

Deutsch: Die Ansicht zeigt den Stresow mit der um 1858 erbauten Geschützgießerei. Davor die noch freien Flächen an der "Freiheit", wo wenig später in den 1860er Jahren die Artilleriewerkstätten errichtet wurden. Linker Hand sieht man die Gebäude der Vorstadt Stresow und dahinter die Altstadt Spandau mit der Nikolaikirche. Links neben der Geschützwerkstatt kann man über die Havel auf das heutige Lindenufer mit dem Garnisonslazarett blicken. Die Zeichnung wurde vermutich vom 1846 eröffneten Spandauer Hauptbahnhof (heute S-Bahnhof Stresow) aus erstellt.
