Description
Français : La Lande de la Madeleine était, depuis toujours sans doute, une terre inculte, qui servait de pâture commune aux troupeaux des habitants voisins. Quelques chaumières seulement étaient disséminées aux alentours. Dans la forêt toute proche, il y avait eu jadis une léproserie, dont l'emplacement exact semble ignoré; et, à la lisière de la forêt, une petite chapelle était depuis longtemps dédiée à Sainte Marie-Madeleine. A quelques centaines de mètres en allant vers Crossac, un menhir, de sept mètres de haut, dénommé " le Fuseau de la Madeleine ", se dresse encore, témoin muet d'un passé lointain et mystérieux
