Svenska: Mätdon, så kallade gängtolkar och gängringar, från Bröderna Malmströms metallvarufabrik i Malmö. Bilden visar metriska gängor i stora dimensioner och Whitworthgängor med tummått. Mätdon av det här slaget används exempelvis för att avlägsna grova spån i arbetsstycken, förhindra brott på gängan i förtid och kontrollera att gängan är rätt.
W står för Whitworth, ISA är en amerikansk standard. Tre variabler bestämmer mått på en gänga. Diameter, stigning och gängvinkel. |
