Le pont roman à cheval sur les communes de La Sauvetat-du-Dropt et d'Agnac a été classé aux Monuments Historiques en 1992. D'époque médiévale, l'ouvrage comporte 23 arches, dont 11 de style roman construites au XIIe siècle et 12 arches de style gothique construites, en raison d'une transformation du lit du Dropt, au XIIIe siècle. Ce pont fut longtemps un passage obligé pour les pèlerins se rendant à Saint-Jacques-de Compostelle, comme il l'est toujours. Il a été restauré en 2011 et la circulation y est à nouveau autorisée….. |
