Summary[edit]

Description
English: Great Western Railway 2800 Class 2-8-0 locomotive No. 2807. The oldest survivor of the 2800 class, and the oldest survivor of George Jackson Churchward's standardised steam locomotives. No. 2807 was completed at Swindon in 1905, and ran until withdrawal in 1963. The locomotive was sent to Woodham Brothers scrapyard in Barry, South Wales. It was saved in 1981 by the current owners, Cotswold Steam Preservation Ltd. and moved to Toddington on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway where it is being restored.
