English: The sarcophagus, known in drawings since the 15th century, originally stood on the Tiber Island in Rome. In May 1945 in was removed to the flak bunker in Berlin-Friedrichshain and badly damaged in a fire. Sk 843a
Deutsch: Der seit dem 15. Jahrhundert in Zeichnungen bekannte Sarkophag stand ursprünglich auf der Tiberinsel in Rom. Im Mai 1945 wurde sie in den Flakbunker in Berlin-Friedrichshain abtransportiert und bei einem Brand schwer beschädigt. Sk 843a
