Description
A view of one of the gates of the Qaisar Bagh (also known as Qaisarbagh and Kaiserbagh) Palace complex in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The complex was built around 1850 by the last Nawab of Lucknow, Wajid Ali Shah. The Palace complex contained residential quarters for the royal family, courtyards, gardens and markets. After the Indian Rebellion of 1857 the complex was eventually demolished. This ornate gate has fish above the arches.
