Description
Nederlands: Twee stenen die tezamen een gedenksteen vormen, ter nagedachtenis aan de synagoge die op deze plek heeft gestaan. De synagoge is gebouwd in 1780 en afgebroken in 1953. Ontworpen door Peter de Rijcke en gemaakt door Frits Vogelpoel. De steen toont de synagoge, in het Hebreeuws staat 'Deze steen weent van uit de muur', het zijn woorden afkomstig uit de Torah (tevens in Habakuk 2:11). De steen is op 30 mei 1979 onthuld door een van de leden van de Joodse gemeenschap.
