Description
English: German migrant family, with child in arms, about to receive a preliminary medical examination before migrating to Australia, at International Refugee Organization camp, Lesum, West Germany. Photographer: Davis Pratt. Purple ink stamp on the reverse reads: `International Refugee Organization United Nations Specialized Agency HQ US zone Germany. The IRO operated between 1947 and 1952.
