Description
Deutsch: Gifhorn, Reliefwand am Standort der einstigen Georgskapelle: Gedenktafel, flankiert von zwei Grabplatten, darüber Relief des Merianstichs von 1654, Firmenzeichen des Steinmetzmeisters Friedrich Wolf. Die Bibelzitate auf den beiden Grabplatten lauten: links: "Das Blut Jesu Christi reiniget uns von allen Sünden" (1Joh 1:7); rechts: "Etiam si mulier oblita fuerit infantem suum, ego tamen non obliviscar" ("Auch wenn eine Frau ihr Kind vergäße, ich werde es nicht vergessen"; Jes 49:15).
