  • Dansk: Kardinal Maffeo Barberini (Pave Urban VIII, 1623-44) bestilte hos Bernini portrætbuster af sine forældre til opstilling i Capella Barberini i S. Andrea della Valle, Rom. Moderens buste blev betalt med 50 scudi 26. april 1619. (jf. d'Onofrio). Den overførtes sammen med sin pendant til Barberini'ernes Casa Grande ai Gibbonari og begge erstattedes i kapellet med portræt medailloner i porfyr af Tommaso fedeli (betalt 1628). Busten nævnes i kardinal Francesco Barberinis inv. af 4. dec. 1628 og fik sin sokkel i marts 1629 (jf. Lavin). Den flyttedes 29. nov. 1635 til Palazzo della Cancelleria (jf. Pollak). Busten befandt sig i "in Casa Barberini" (jf. Baldinucci) sammen med andre Barberiniportrætter og befandt sig der til 1731. Formodes at være overgået til Palazzo Sciarra i anden halvdel af det 18. årh. efter at Cornelia Barberini, gift med Giulio Cesare Colonna di Sciarra, var død.
