Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Gjøngehøvdingen, der foregår under den Første Karl Gustav-krig i 1657-1658. Vor Frue Kirke i Vordingborg dækket i sne. Kirkens alder er usikker, men den er tilsyneladende blevet til ved om- og udbygninger af en ældre kirke i løbet af 1300- og 1400-tallet. Sakristiet til højre blev bygget i 1700, så det fandtes ikke under krigen.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Gjøngehøvdingen by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1657-1658. Vor Frue Kirke (Church of Our Lady) in Vordingborg covered in snow. The age of the church is unsure but it seems that it was constructed at a rebuilding of an older church during the 14th and 15th century. The sacristy at the right was build in 1700, so it didn't exist at the time of the war. |
