The weekend after we got back from our trip, we took a road trip with some friends to Kalispell Montana as a part of their/our little birthday celebrations. On the way there, we noticed a cool little vintage red bus pulled over on the side of the road. As I got closer, I saw that there were actually THREE of them! How could I not get out and snap a photo of them in front of some beautiful scenery. Turns out that these are part of the Glacier Park Red Bus Tours that's been running since the 1930's. Very cool! I was hoping to drive the Going to the Sun Road, but when I got there, we were told that it was closed still. Upon further research, it looks like late-July is a more likely time to be able to drive that road. We'll definitely be back and if time permits, a red bus tour may be in order. |
