| Description |
Deutsch: Kroau ist ein Ortsteil in der Gemeinde Gleiritsch. Der Kroaubach, der östlich des Großen Kulms entspringt und über das Fichtental an der Kroau vorbei in Richtung Bernhof fließt, mündet westlich der Kohlmühle als linker Zufluss in die Gleiritsch. Früher gab es hier eine Mühle. Der Mahlbetrieb wurde im Jahre 1970 eingestellt, da größere Betriebe die unwirtschaftlichen kleineren Mühlen verdrängten (auch Kohlmühle, Schneglmühle). Der Kroauweiher wurde vom Wasser des Kroaubaches gespeist. Das Wasser trieb das Mühlrad an. Heute gibt es drei Anwesen in Kroau. Das Gelände des Badeweihers in Gleiritsch befindet sich ebenfalls in der Kroau. Die von Gleiritsch kommende und an der Kroau vorbeiführende Gemeindestraße endet in Stöcklhof: Kroau, Gemeinde Gleiritsch, Landkreis Schwandorf, Oberpfalz, Bayern |
